The Texas state print features towns, cities, the state capitol Austin, as well as some of the prominent bodies of water, mountains, deserts and land in the state. What sets this state illustration apart is that I've included the state's indigenous people and the areas they first inhabited. The original tribes included the Apache, Kiowa, Jumano, Eastern Pueblos, Coahuilteco, Carrizo, Tawakoni, Kitsai, Wichita, Caddo, Tonkawa, Karankawa, Bidai and Comanche. Also included are all the natural landmarks and the state bird, which is the Northern Mockingbird. Other tribes moved through the area but these are known as the original inhabitants.
You have your choice of four background colors and your choice of size-8x10, 11x14, and 12x16. Please state if you do not want the tribal boundaries and names-otherwise they will be on your print. Please email me at tammy(at)tammysmithdesign.com with your color choice after ordering.
My prints are made using Epson Pigment Inks, which are guaranteed not to fade for at least 100 years. Features: • archival inks • high quality matte stock • shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube • ready to place in a frame
