The Michigan state tea towel features towns, cities, the state capitol Lansing, as well as some of the prominent bodies of water, deserts, mountains and land in the state. What sets this state illustration apart is that I've included the state's indigenous people and the areas they first inhabited. The original tribes included the Ojibwe, Menominee, Potawatomi, Miami, Sauk, Fox, and the Kickapoo. Other tribes moved through the area but these are known as the original inhabitants.
